Export/Logistics Coordinator

We are seeking an experienced export/logistics coordinator to join these (NZ owned and operated!) trading experts who specialise in marketing and distribution of high-quality meat and animal proteins from New Zealand, Australia, and South America. It is a fast -paced challenging role which has a variety of tasks relating to shipping of containers around the world including organising local transport, managing of stock, loading containers, booking, and tracking of shipments and liaising with shipping companies, freight suppliers and customers. It is a small friendly team environment so we are looking for a flexible individual who can roll up their sleeves and get through the day with a can-do attitude and a smile!

What we are ideally seeking in the successful candidate is:

· Exporting, logistics or shipping experience

· Understanding of Supply Chain process

· High attention to detail and accuracy

· Ability to think on feet and solve issues quickly

· Analytical thinker with strong planning and organisation skills

· Effective communicator both written and verbal
