About the role
Reporting to the Factory Manager, this hands-on role is responsible for the generation of a strategic plan to improve the manufacturing processes, designing quality standards, inspecting materials, equipment, processes, and products, developing quality control systems, and determining corrective actions. This will include…
· Delivery of quality improvement initiatives
· Development of quality standards
· Working with key stakeholders (internal and external) and customers on quality improvement initiatives
· Facilitating weekly quality meetings
· Identifying testing methods and samples, analysing information, and data
· Reporting on statistical information trends and making recommendations to support and promote quality and process improvements
· Facilitate necessary training to reduce quality errors.
About you
· Mechanical or Industrial Engineering qualification with 8-10 years’ experience
· Demonstrated manufacturing experience in Quality/Continuous Improvement
· Excellent communication and influencing skills
· High focus on quality improvement
· Continuous improvement background (Lean/Six Sigma)
· Advanced Excel skills focusing on the data analysis tool set
