Deal Desk Analyst

Salt is hiring a Deal Desk Analyst for providing support to sales organization on deal approvals. The incumbent will be partnering with sales teams to identify customers’ critical business issues and assist in structuring deal that meet both company’s requirements and the customer’s needs

Responsibilities:

• Be a trusted partner to the sales team on deal structuring and quoting, complex deals options and ensuring consistent application of policies.
• Perform to a specified set of metrics and service levels.
• Acts as the key contact point for deal approvals and escalations to internal stakeholders, including but not limited to: Business Unit, Legal, Credit, Revenue Assurance, Audit and Compliance, Order Management, Sales Operations, Customer Success Manager.
• Utilize SFDC CPQ, ensuring Quotes and Contracts are approved within internal policies and procedures.
• Provide in-quarter deal status and communication to sale finance and sales management. Evaluate current processes and make recommendations for areas of improvement.
• Ad-hoc responsibilities on special projects and analysis as needed.

What you need to succeed

• You thrive in a team environment, are self-motivated, and are extremely detail-oriented with demonstrated problem solving and decision-making skills.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in a Deal Desk, Pricing, Sales Finance, Sales Operations or Revenue role in an Enterprise Software/SaaS industry
• Demonstrated success partnering with internal business units and cross functional teams
• Excellent interpersonal skills: ability to articulate verbally and written, willingness to appropriately explain difficult issues; ability to think quickly
• Strong analytical, commercial acumen, project management and organizational skills
• Ability to excel in a fast growing/fast paced environment delivering accuracy while managing to deadlines independently where adaptability is imperative
• Good understanding of revenue recognition rules
• Proficient in Salesforce.com, CPQ/quoting tool, Microsoft office applications
• Mandarin speaking due to job coverage requirement
• Korean speaking is an advantage
