Finance Marketing Analyst

Salt Talent Search is looking for a Marketing Analyst for 7 months contract role. As an analyst you will blend deep technical skills with sharp business acumen to deliver analyses and insights that shape the investment decisions of senior leaders across Marketing, Finance, Sales, and Product

What Will You Do:

• Collaborate with senior leaders in Marketing, Finance, Sales, and Product to help drive Google’s strategic initiatives.
• Analyze the effectiveness of marketing investments, translating complex data into actionable insights and high-impact recommendations.
• Champion the adoption of Google’s proprietary AI and machine learning tools to enhance forecasting accuracy and automate financial analysis.
• Develop and maintain robust tools, dashboards, and data infrastructure to clearly communicate spending and performance to a wide range of audiences.
• Design and implement effective governance processes to manage financial expenditures and mitigate risk
• Support executive communication within Marketing and to other cross-functional teams.

What Do You Need:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of experience in a highly analytical field such as business analytics, quantitative marketing, financial planning and analysis (FP&A), management consulting, or investment banking.
• In-depth experience with data analysis, report creation, and database querying (e.g., SQL).
