Senior Business Systems Analyst

SALT is hiring contract resource(s) for its leading tech client for 6 months contract role of Senior Business Systems Analyst. You will get the chance to work with the top-notch company and enrich them with your expertise.

Responsibilities:

• Order Management
• Partner with the business to analyze, define and document business requirements, within and across functions
• Drives standard methodologies during requirements capturing and modeling
• Has a strong focus on capturing core requirements, beyond stated requirements and accurately places these within a broader context
• Understands business environment and helps to connect/align meaningful business stakeholders
• Handles partner expectations and communications within and beyond the functional track
• Knows business environment well enough to identify and actively include the correct partners
• Interacts regularly with senior management level stakeholders, and demonstrates value from realized projects
• Responsible to design and document cross-functional and global solutions, drawing on functional expertise of functional and technical team members or vendors, as appropriate
• Advises on solutions prepared by peers or supporting team, and champions good design practices
• Documents and reviews broader team documentation
• Supports team in identifying and defining relevant documentation templates pertaining to solution delivery * Is a champion for knowledge transfer to enable/empower other team members * Develops functional designs for applications, integrations and conversions
• Champions balanced, forward-looking functional designs
• Coordinates integration testing, validates test cases with stakeholders for user acceptance testing and training, and obtains sign-offs
• Coordinates defects clarification, triage and coordinate resolution with engineering teams .
• Designs forward looking configurations by recognizing future needs aligned with the business roadmap
• Develops configuration standards
• Supports and trains junior resources and oversees quality in triage and troubleshooting practices
• Leads troubleshooting efforts on critical issues with cross functional teams through resolution
• Identifies improvements to address repeat issues
• Works with functional leadership teams to set expectations and conduct planning and execution of SME training activities
• Defines, communicates, and implements support and engagement plans
• Analyzes adoption rates and issues and assesses business case realization and proposes solutions to improve
• Executes medium-scale vendor evaluations, pricing negotiations and software acquisitions
• Prepares management communications and gets partner input for recommendations.

Qualifications

• 8-10 years’ experience as Business Systems Analyst for Order to Cash processes
• Bachelors in Information Systems, Business or related field
• Functional knowledge managing requirements and implementing system solutions in areas of Order Management, Order Orchestration is required
• Experience in Quoting, Pricing is a plus
• Experience interfacing with products, pricing and billing business teams is required
• Ability to document user stories and data flows is required
• Able to understand complex business processes and data from multiple business systems
• Ability to drive cross functional discussions across global business groups and IT independently
• Detail oriented and demonstrate ability to analyze complex problem statements
• Experience working in Agile Methodology
