Our client is looking for an experienced Design Traffic Manager/Project Manager. The ideal candidate will come from a Design/Creative studio background, as well as having at least 7+ yearsof experience in a similar role.
Skills:
- Project Management:Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools to create and manage project schedules, allocate resources, and track progress (specifically with a focus on packaging, label and/or artwork)
- Design Knowledge:A basic understanding of design principles and processes to effectively coordinate design projects related to packaging/label/artwork
- Resource Allocation:The ability to assess workloads, availability, and skills of design team members to allocate tasks appropriately.
- Quality Assurance: Knowledge of design quality standards and the ability to review design deliverables for adherence to these standards.
- Data Analysis: Competency in data analysis tools to generate project reports and make data-driven decisions for process improvement.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with design software and collaboration tools to facilitate project management and communication.
What You’ll be Doing:
- Collaborate with project stakeholders to gather project requirements and specifications.
- Create and maintain project schedules and timelines.
- Allocate design tasks to appropriate team members.
- Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to deadlines. Identify and address any potential bottlenecks in project workflow.
- Establish process for quality assurance and control for design deliverables.
- Project handover from Global to Regional teams on completion Clear and effective communication between project stakeholders.
- Ensure designers have the necessary tools, information, and resources to complete their work effectively.
In addition:
- Act as the central point of contact for design project inquiries and updates.
- Foster effective communication and collaboration between design teams, project managers, business partners, vendors and other stakeholders.
- Resolve conflicts or issues related to project priorities, requirements, or resources.
- Establish process for review of design deliverables to ensure they meet quality standards and project specifications.and link to print feasibility (PPM)
- Provide feedback and guidance to designers for continuous improvement & implement quality control processes to maintain consistency and excellence in design work.
