Salt is partnering with a leading EdTech company to hire a Field Marketing Manager. This is a fully remote, full-time, permanent position, reporting directly to the Sr. Manager, Regional Marketing.
In this position, you will collaborate with Sales and Solution Marketing to provide strategic and specialized marketing expertise for multiple high-impact campaigns and programs that drive pipeline growth; you will recommend and evaluate conference and sponsorship levels with critical regional associations, develop territory-specific marketing plans and develop/manage campaign and monthly reports that help drive decisions and recommendations.
The role + responsibilities:
- Plan and execute multi-tactic marketing programs for demand generation and lead nurturing (incl. content syndication, email marketing, events and webinars, print advertising, internal and external newsletters, etc.)
- Develop marketing messaging materials targeted to buyer personas and tailored to specific states and accounts; informing them of thought leadership and building brand awareness
- Partner with cross-functional teams to create targeted messaging and content that support brand awareness and demand generation
- Analyze results of marketing programs and identify opportunities to be more effective
- Identify, qualify and manage internal and outside agencies
- Develop and create annual marketing plans, and empower the sales team with collateral to be impactful
- Develop and execute customer acquisition programs that drive customer and sales growth within your region
- Provide reporting; monitor and examine the health of marketing contribution to the sales pipeline, program ROI, customer acquisition and penetration, contact acquisition and activity
- Partner with Marketing Ops and Shared Services to drive marketing database strategy and execute on campaigns, i.e. design and editorial services
Your profile + experience:
- Bachelor’s (or advanced) degree within Marketing
- 7+ years total marketing experience
- 3+ years of experience developing and executing successful demand gen programs
- Solid project management skills; ownership of project plans through their lifecycle
- Experience in EdTech, publishing or software marketing is REQUIRED
- Experience working with design and creative professionals to develop collateral that reflects the product brand and target audience needs
- Proven experience in a wide variety of inbound/outbound marketing disciplines, including social media (i.e. Facebook, LinkedIn), paid and organic search, advertising, re-targeting, email, direct and event marketing
- Account Based Marketing experience preferred
- Manage budget, develop and execute quarterly and annual strategy and tactical plans, and evaluate ROI of campaigns and events in assigned territory
- Travel to assigned regions (10%)
