VP of Marketing

Salt is partnering with a VC funded Proptech startup to hire a VP of Marketing, located out of Austin, TX OR Remote.

This is an exciting opportunity for a proven marketing leader with a Series B high-growth startup.

The day-to-day:

• Product Marketing will be your bread and butter; your foundation is in GTM and you are passionate about connecting current and future customers to the products and services that enable them to grow their businesses
• Guide spectacular marketing campaigns from ideation to execution
• Creatively work across your team to develop a holistic and compelling brand strategy
• Build relationships internally with peers, direct reports, partners and vendors
• Construct and execute customer marketing strategies that drive retention gains and up-sells
• You will be responsible for hiring a team of exceptional marketing specialists across content, social, community, brand, paid, and email within the next 6-12 months

Your qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience in a marketing leadership position within SaaS
• Relevant industry exposure allowing you to craft effective marketing strategies fora B2B audience
• Demonstrated success working across an executive leadership team to drive long-term, high-level business strategy
• You have a bias-for-action leading with rigorous data-driven and business critical marketing skills
• A proven track record within marketing leadership that makes you an effective recruiter, people want to follow you to their next great opportunity
• An obsession with Customer Acquisition Cost; it’s your north star when developing and executing predictable and scalable marketing strategies
• You understand what it means to be the driving force for exceptional and unique content creation
• Experience working collaboratively and in-sync with product and sales on product releases to maximize opportunity
