About the Role

Our client is seeking experienced sales professionals based in San Francisco who have a strong track record of acquiring new business and growing existing client relationships. The ideal candidate is proactive, highly organized, and skilled at fostering trust with partners. This role requires a balance of sales expertise and a customer-first mindset to build lasting partnerships.

The company collaborates with accounting professionals, providing them with financial solutions that support their clients. You will be responsible for onboarding new accounting firms, understanding their needs, and demonstrating the value of the platform. Additionally, you will maintain ongoing relationships with existing partners while continuously expanding your network.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of accounting firm partners, ensuring their clients maximize the benefits of the platform.
  • Develop and nurture relationships with new and existing partners through a consultative sales approach.
  • Keep partners informed of new features and updates to ensure they fully leverage the solutions.
  • Advocate for partner and client needs to contribute to the development of the product roadmap.
  • Expand partnerships within accounting firms by onboarding additional accountants and clients.
  • Compete effectively in a dynamic market to acquire new business.
  • Maintain an organized and well-managed sales pipeline to meet company goals.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and address technical questions from potential partners.
  • Work closely with internal teams-including Partner Development, Partner Success, and Customer Support-to ensure a seamless experience for partners.
  • Maintain accurate records in the CRM and utilize a best-in-class sales technology stack.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in a sales role with closing responsibilities.
  • 1+ years of experience managing a book of business and meeting acquisition targets.
  • Preferred background in:
    • Selling SaaS, financial services, or other software solutions.
    • Working with channel and reseller sales partnerships, especially within the accounting sector.
  • Proven ability to consistently exceed sales quotas.
  • A team player who thrives in a collaborative environment and enjoys taking on diverse challenges.
  • A proactive professional eager to contribute to the growth and development of the partner sales team.

Compensation & Benefits

Competitive base salary plus performance-based On-Target Earnings (OTE). Compensation may vary based on experience, skills, and business needs. In addition to base pay, the client offers equity, healthcare benefits, and paid time off.
