VP Revenue

Our client is hiring for a VP of Revenue. The global business you’ll be joining is a conglomerate of multiple operating independent companies generating over $22B in revenue. As the Vice President of Revenue, you’ll play a crucial role in leading and driving the company’s growth. You’ll be focused on creating and executing go-to-market plans and pricing strategies while managing a team of sales professionals and hitting revenue targets for the Americas and EMEA regions. This position is ideal for a leader with 10-15+ years of sales and business development experience, who has a proven track record in the digital marketing, digital media, or digital design industries, with a preference for those who have SaaS product or marketplaces experience.

You’ll be a sales leader, based in the us (remote or east coast) and managing a portfolio of 300 Enterprise accounts and working closely with the product, marketing, and finance teams to contribute to the company’s annual strategic plan. Your previous ability to strategically sell into CMO level brands will be essential to success in this role.

As the VP of Revenue, your responsibilities will include:

  • Implement efficient sales planning, operations, reporting, and forecasting processes, systems, and tools needed to scale sales operations
  • Accelerating enterprise solution selling and key client relationship and pipeline development within the sales team
  • Building and expanding a dynamic, high-performance sales organization through a team of sales representatives, sales operations, and sales support, driving adoption of relevant processes, tools, and metrics
  • Managing and coaching the sales team on solution selling, relationship development, and negotiation
  • Leading the implementation of sales strategies, tactics, and developing sales plays designed to capture market share, develop new enterprise customer relationships, and generate incremental business that exceeds sales goals
  • Building and expanding the direct enterprise customer base and developing solution capabilities to generate high-value contracts encompassing multiple products and services
  • Overseeing sales pipeline management, deal progression, negotiations, and developing team productivity KPIs to grow pipeline, improve closing rates, increase deal size, and manage margin
  • Collaborating closely with the Head of Finance and Business Intelligence team to ensure accurate reporting, forecasting, and goal setting
  • Working with Marketing and Product to coordinate go-to-market plans, identify collateral needs, live events, external communications, lead generation, and other awareness and interest drivers
  • Providing market-level feedback to the Product teams on performance, competitive market pressures, and qualified customer demands to ensure road-maps drive incremental revenue
  • Identifying opportunities for optimization in the customer journey and championing changes to facilitate growth channels through new products or services
  • Expanding the geographic footprint by developing international strategies and relationships
  • Developing and building deep and long-term relationships with strategic clients and partners
  • Initiating and developing innovations and service packages, exploring sophisticated, differentiating, exclusive partnership models to scale outreach and customers
  • Identifying sales and business development opportunities, expanding offerings into existing accounts and identified prospects by having a high level of understanding of the customer’s business strategy and requirements.
