Lead Security Engineer- DevSecOps
Salt has recently partnered with a leading software platform, their products are utilized by Fortune 500 groups to deliver data, and analytics to help guide their business this hire will be their first dedicated DevSecOps Engineer to help establish Application Security in the business.
You will be working with a fast growing business this is an opportunity to help blueprint Application Security for the business, you will be given a variety of tasks including:
· Lead all Security Engineering tasks including introducing App & Cloud Security to the business
· Asses all existing security protocols that currently are in place, looking for ways to implement & improve best practices
· Enhancing Security automation into standing DevOps processes
The ideal candidate will have a background similar to:
· Strong Educational Background (Computer Science is preferred but will consider surrounding fields)
· Application Security background – Manual testing and Automation testing (dynamic testing, static testing, pen testing)
· A background in scripting (python)
· Experience working in a cloud based environment (AWS is preferred but will consider Azure or GCP)
