Field Service Technician

Billion Dollar Beverage Packaging Giant is looking for a talented Field Service Technician, ideally looking for their next long-term opportunity.

This company is a world leader in the processing and packaging industries, working with some of the largest beverage, food, and consumer packaging brands in the world. With projects ranging from planning & installing fully integrated processing, packaging, & bottling systems to replacing or upgrading individual machines.

This role is open to Field Service Technicians who are experienced in 1 of 4 of these disciplines and product lines below:

Blow Molding

• Looking for experience with any blow molding, contiforms, preparing molds, injection molds.

Filling

• Looking for experience with fillers or cappers (If you are a military veteran, this role could be for you).

Inspection

• Looking for experience with barcode scanning systems, vision inspection systems, electrical and mechanical troubleshooting, repairs and integration, identifying hardware/software issues, providing technical support.
• Reading diagrams and blueprints to understand mechanical and electrical systems, installing electrical equipment, install/program/service/maintain cameras and line scanners.
• An educational background in electronics, electronics engineering or computer information systems is preferred.

Electrical

• Looking for experience in programming PLCs and troubleshooting PLCs, SCADA, HMIs, installation and troubleshooting of equipment.
• PLCs – Allen Bradley, Siemens. Siemens STEP 7 is highly desired but not required.
• An educational background in Electronic Control Systems is preferred.
