Solutions Architect (Toronto based or remote North America)

My client is an exciting startup providing a first to market tech platform for ecommerce brands. About the Role

They are looking for a talented Solutions Architect to join their team and help them onboard partner merchants and integrate their solution deeply into the partner’s ecommerce operations. Working closely with the engineering team to ensure partner merchants go through smooth onboarding (including providing accurate timelines, resources required and coordinating efforts across different stakeholders). As the product expert, you will be the main point of contact, and will be the eyes and ears of their partner merchants, bringing their needs to influence the core product / platform roadmap.

Your Focus Will Be:

• Review meetings with partner merchants to showcase the value of the company and product.
• Providing tech support to the business development, merchant success and product teams.
• Gather feedback from partner merchants to improve the effectiveness of the onboarding process.
• Work with merchant success and cross functional teams to drive operating model improvements and merchant experience during onboarding.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of solutions engineering / architect experience in a fast-growing SaaS product company.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or related equivalent experience.
• Experience in software development, application design and coding in various languages such as PHP, Golang, Python, Ruby, Java, etc.
• Proven technical sales skills, including ability to communicate technical and business requirements.
• Excellent project management skills are a must.
