🎇Event Coordinator: Corporate Events

Step into the exciting world of event planning as our Event Coordinator! You’ll be the go-to person for turning ideas into unforgettable corporate events that wow clients and hit our business targets. Working closely with the Divisional Manager, you’ll oversee every detail-from brainstorming creative concepts to the final debrief. This role is all about making magic happen behind the scenes, ensuring every event runs like clockwork while keeping the atmosphere fun and engaging.

🎇Key Responsibilities:

  • Event Mastermind: Independently coordinate small to medium-sized events, handling everything from selecting the perfect venue to creating post-event reports that highlight your success.
  • Budget Boss: Draft budgets, operational plans, and event guides, ensuring every event stays on track and within budget. You’ll have a knack for numbers and an eye for detail.
  • On site Hero: Be the on site go-to person, managing logistics, solving last-minute hiccups, and ensuring everything goes off without a hitch. You’ll also support our Event Managers when things get busy.
  • Administrative Whiz: Keep the paperwork under control by handling all event-related admin tasks like filing, invoicing, and processing purchase orders. You’ll be the backbone of our events, making sure nothing falls through the cracks.
  • Financial Guru: Help us meet our financial targets by managing event budgets, preparing detailed reports, and ensuring suppliers are paid on time. Your role is key in keeping our events profitable.
  • Supplier Scout: Assist in finding the best suppliers, negotiating deals, and ensuring they meet all safety and compliance standards. You’ll have a keen eye for quality and a talent for negotiation.
  • Client Connector: Build and maintain strong relationships with our clients, always going the extra mile to exceed their expectations. You’ll play a part in crafting winning proposals and keeping clients coming back for more.

🎇What We’re Looking For:

  • Detail-Obsessed Multitasker: You thrive in a fast-paced environment, juggling multiple tasks while keeping an eye on every little detail.
  • People Person: You’re a team player who communicates clearly, works well under pressure, and knows how to keep things fun, even when deadlines loom.
  • Adventure-Ready: You’re excited to travel, work overtime, and tackle the challenges that come with event planning. You’re unflappable, even in stressful situations.
  • Experience & Skills: You bring at least 3 years of event coordination experience and a solid track record in event administration. A relevant diploma or degree in event management, project management, or similar is a plus. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint) is a must.
  • Flexibility: Be prepared to travel and work extended hours, including weekends, to meet the demands of the role. You’ll host suites at various events and work across all hospitality events nationwide, ensuring every event you touch is a success

You’ll be part of a dynamic team that loves what we do and takes pride in creating amazing experiences. If you’re passionate about events, love a challenge, and have a knack for making the impossible possible, we want to hear from you!
