IT Change Manager

CHANGE MANAGER

– Location: Cape Town CBD, 4-days on-site required.

– Duration: 12-months, renewable, time-and-material contract.

Start date: ASAP.

PURPOSE

Manage and co-ordinate change across various projects within budget and time constraints

KEY OUTCOMES

• Managing change initiatives by leading teams
• Managing the full change lifecycle of project
• Managing the change within the environment including, resistance and any employee sensitivity within the environment
• Demonstrating effective communication skills and stakeholder management (managing expectations)
• Ensuring support and understanding of change impacts within the broader business environment
• Support Line and HR to ensure successful project implementation
• Utilising the appropriate application of the change methodology
• Transforming detailed and complex concepts into a simple, easy to understand concept and change journey
• Develop training material and deliver training
• Assisting with organisational design and transformation to support large-scale projects across the business (where necessary)

TECHNICAL & FUNCTIONAL COMPETENCIES

• Proven experience as a successful leader in a demanding environment
• Excellent planning and organising skills
• Ability to use a wide range of Microsoft desktop applications (e.g. word, PowerPoint etc.)
• In-depth knowledge of the retail industry & online advantageous
• Sound project, process and change management skills

• Formal qualification at postgraduate level

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

8-10 years experience in change management with a record of achieving targets, goals and objectives
