🚀 Senior Software Engineer – Streaming & AWS

Level: Senior

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer with strong expertise in real-time data streaming and AWS cloud architecture. This role will play a key part in building modern, scalable systems that handle complex data flows and support business-critical applications.

You’ll collaborate with a cross-functional team to design, develop, and maintain high-performance services and tools – all while pushing the boundaries of cloud-native development.

🔧 Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain real-time data streaming pipelines and services

• Develop and optimize scalable backend services and APIs

• Collaborate closely with software engineers, data engineers, and DevOps teams to build new tools and improve system architecture

• Manage and enhance AWS infrastructure components, including security, scalability, and performance tuning

• Build and maintain efficient CI/CD pipelines and participate in infrastructure as code (IaC) practices

• Ensure systems are robust, observable, and aligned with performance and availability targets

✅ Required Skills & Experience

Languages & Frameworks:

• Node.js, JavaScript, Java, React

• HTML, SQL

Cloud & Infrastructure:

• Strong AWS experience, especially with:

  • MSK (Kafka)

  • EC2, Lambda, Glue, Aurora RDS

  • Kubernetes (k8s) and Docker

DevOps & Infrastructure as Code:

• CI/CD tools and practices

• Terraform for infrastructure automation

• GitOps workflows

Databases:

• Complex schema design

• Performance tuning and query optimization

• Experience working with high-throughput, low-latency systems

• Familiarity with event-driven architectures

• Exposure to data pipeline orchestration tools
