Associate HRBP

  • 6 months contract with possibility of extension

Our client is well-established and renowned world’s leading entertainment service provider who is currently seeking Associate HRBP for a short-term contract to assist HR Manager based in Sydney office.

Key Responsibilities with between 2-5 years prior relevant exp as HRBP:

  • Assisting the Senior HRBPs in driving the Talent strategy to reach talent goals with strong collaboration across the Talent team supporting leaders on employee relations matters (e.g., interpersonal conflict and exits)
  • Supporting the organization to deliver by helping drive alignment to the business strategy, problem solving, resolving the tension between groups, clarifying roles and responsibilities, improving team effectiveness, and nurturing organizational health
  • Demonstrating autonomy and proactivity in identifying and addressing potential challenges before they become problems
  • Exploring and analyzing data to identify insights and opportunities for business impact, using data to drive business decisions, and tell a compelling story that influences stakeholders
  • Assist with logistics to support HR initiatives and cultural events as required (including preparing lists, reports, calendar invites and other administration).
  • Support HR on WHS matters including; workers compensation administration, safety management initiatives, WHS committee items and actions
  • Support Senior HRBPs and immigration team on immigration coordination including; maintaining the visa tracker, communicating with leaders, employees and internal stakeholder groups on updates and changes related to immigration and relocation process and cases
  • Manage HR Google docs folder structures and organization as required
  • Partner with Sydney HRBPs (and broader business) on HR related projects and initiatives
  • Support HR team to establish and maintain up-to-date and accurate data and documentation and reporting
  • Support ad-hoc employee requests such as jury duty letters, letters of service, pay slip enquiries

Qualifications and Experience

  • This includes demonstrating strategic thinking, adaptability in a dynamic environment, and some HR business partnering experience
  • Business acumen with the ability to translate business strategy into actionable talent solutions
  • A self-starter who is comfortable in both the details and strategy, demonstrating curiosity about the business and organization overall, with a desire to uplevel the partnership with the teams they support
  • Demonstrated stakeholder management, influencing, and accountability skills – especially with employees
  • A great communicator who can share context confidently, effectively, and bring clarity to messages
  • Experience in change management, capable of navigating complex and ambiguous situations
  • Strong judgment, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
  • Experience in leading the implementation of strategic talent initiatives
  • Strong working knowledge of and experience in Australia’s Labor Laws
  • Experience in Media , Entertainment and/or Gaming studio content production , Global Tech is desirable
