Call or Contact Centre Operator

Fantastic opportunity to step into the public sector where you will be a part of the Customer Contact Team where you will take on an essential role by providing exceptional customer service and be the first point-of-contact for this Government department. Work collaboratively with the team where you will draw on your previous experiences in customer service and administration along with great organisation skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a high-volume working environment.

As an ideal candidate, you will have:

· Demonstrated ability to respond promptly, and effectively to triage all enquiries from customers, stakeholders, service providers and members of the public.

· Experience providing switchboard services to a range of customers in a high-volume working environment and determining the appropriate response or where to refer the enquiry.

· Ability to provide a range of administrative and support services to meet the business needs of the team/unit.

About you:

· Experience working in the public sector (highly regarded)

· Experience with high-volume inbound/outbound calls

· Empathetic, agile minded and adaptable in a dynamic environment

· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

· Excellent planning and organisational capabilities with a keen eye for detail

Benefits:

Multiple positions

Start ASAP – once pre-employments checks are cleared

$30 – $38/hr + super

6 months contracts (possible extensions)
