Maintenance Supervisor/ Engineer

Salt Search is partnering with a global FMCG company who has state of art manufacturing facilities throughout Australia & the globe.

We are urgently recruiting a critical urgent role as Maintenance Engineer/Supervisor & Electrical Automation Engineer (located in regional NSW).

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Reporting to an supportive Engineering Manager
• Actively participate in maintenance routines to ensure maintenance activities.
• Be involved with Opex/Capex projects where required.
• Supervise trades with all facets of management.
• Assist with technical training program for all factory maintenance.
• Assist Production team to minimise downtime and make improvements.
• Implement OHS and other standards.

What qualifies you:

• Completion of tertiary degree in Engineering or equivalent experience working as a Maintenance Supervisor or engineer in manufacturing company (desired FMCG experience)
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in this role
• Must have permanent residency and proof of work rights
• Supervision of trades staff
• Leaders will require a proven track record in delivering results by working with cross-functional teams, and experience in managing and leading teams.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills and a proven capacity to influence and negotiate to drive high standards of performance and quality.
• Self-management following defined KPIs/Objectives, and proactively tracking them.
