Salt is partnering with a leading financial institution; this is a fantastic opportunity to work for Australia’s preeminent Private Wealth Management company based in Sydney.

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Onboarding Associate to join the Private Wealth Management team. This role is pivotal in leveraging your expertise in Private Wealth Management and ensuring Anti-Money-Laundering compliance.

– Newly formed team, with a focus on providing a client centric onboarding experience

– Support Advisors and Analyst on boarding high net worth clients

In this Associate role, you will:

• Case managing new onboarding requests
• Liaising with and support Advisers and Analysts on onboarding document requirements
• Managing CRM systems and ensuring all data and documentation is accurate
• Conducting AML (Anti-Money-Laundering) compliance checks and approving AML-compliance status of new accounts
• Support advice teams with compliance activities and queries
• Liaising with Advice and Private Wealth Client Support teams to facilitate workflow and manage onboarding issues/ challenges
• Support continuous improvement across the team to uplift performance

About you:

• Experience in Private Wealth Management
• Strong understanding of the financial markets
• Experience working and liaising with Wealth Managers / Advisers
• Strong communication, stakeholder management and relationships skills
• High level of written and verbal communication
• Must have onboarding experience with AML/KYC
• Strong client and compliant focus, with high attention to detail
• AML and compliance knowledge (Preferred)
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport
• Good understanding of complex client structures is desirable (inc. beneficial ownerships of different entity types, etc.)
