P&C Program Manager – Academic Excellence

Our client is a leading university in Sydney, and renowned for their commitment to academic excellence, research innovation and global impact.

Reporting to the Project Director in Strategy, and as a P&C Program Manager for Academic Excellence you will be responsible for leading and coordinating a high-impact program designed to drive innovation, enhance research quality, and elevate the university’s academic standing. This role requires a strategic thinker with exceptional project management skills, a deep understanding of academic environments, and the ability to engage with diverse stakeholders effectively.

Some of the key Responsibilities are around the following:

  • Program Leadership and Strategy
  • Project Management
  • Stakeholder Engagement
  • Performance Monitoring and Reporting
  • Resource Allocation and Budget Management
  • Innovation and Improvement

We are searching for someone that has the following skills and knowledge:

  • Experience where you have lead P&C, HR systems improvement and implementation across large highly matrixed organisations
  • Desired to have strong understanding of complexities around academic environments and higher education dynamics.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in program management, project management, or a related role, with a proven track record of successfully managing complex programs or projects

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Education, Human Resources or a related field. A Master’s degree or relevant professional certification (e.g., PMP) is preferred.

What is on offer?

  • 6-month contract but more than likely to extend if performing
  • $1000 + super per day
  • This is a hybrid role with 2-3 days in the office. Based in Sydney CBD.
