Based in Queensland, one of the big 4 is seeking their next Senior Agribusiness Banking Manager to join their team and oversee their impressive Agribusiness portfolios. You’ll provide advice for a variety of dynamic agriculture industries, covering all aspects of the supply chain from farm to plate, including post-farm-gate operations and relationships with leading exporters. Collaborate with Australia’s top agriculture financial service providers, supported by experienced colleagues and a dedicated Agribusiness Manager to achieve tangible outcomes for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

* Develop and manage a portfolio of Corporate AgriBusiness Banking customers and Referral partners.

* Identify new Agribusiness opportunities and establish networks of internal and external contacts.

* Assess economic value and risk potential of new business ventures.

* Maintain and enhance portfolio credit risk profile and profitability.

* Implement initiatives to drive customer growth in the local market.

* Analyze annual cash flows and financial statements for relationship growth.

* Sanction lending within delegated authorities and prepare lending proposals for approval.

* Ensure compliance with lending policies and regulations.

Role Requirements:

* Highly experienced relationship manager with a degree and/or post-graduate professional qualification (e.g., CA, PY, ACCA, MBA, CIB).

* Background in Australian Agriculture with credit assessment experience.

* Comprehensive understanding of Agribusiness, including post-farm-gate practices.

* Strong focus on customer growth, lending, credit assessment, and control.
