eCommerce Product Merchandiser

This is a super exciting opportunity to join a team who are at the forefront of eCommerce innovation in Australia and New Zealand.

We are looking for an experienced eCommerce Product Merchandiser to join our clients ecommerce team.

The main purpose of an eCommerce Product Merchandiser is to effectively merchandise all new & existing product ranges across Web & Apps, that ensures products and categories are presented to customers in an inspiring and commercial way, based on data and industry trends.

Working with the purchasing and marketing teams on the day-to-day trading & running of all platforms where you will make regular site updates.

Additionally, you’ll be working closely with the rest of the Design and Development teams to ensure continuous optimisation of product listings, landing pages & navigation across all platforms.

What you will be doing:

  • Ensuring all products are categorised effectively & product content is SEO optimised
  • Keep abreast of market trends, shopping behaviour and competitor activity thus be able to identify market opportunities
  • Using data from Google Analytics to inform decisions
  • Continuous monitoring, optimising & reporting of all product listings
  • Proactively reviewing the site, enforcing consistency across all pages and suggesting improvements focussed on the customer journey
  • Working alongside the team to perform ongoing site maintenance and site updates to keep in line with promotions and seasonal trends
  • Ensuring a best-in-class website and identifying improvements to content, user flows – reporting anything to the dev team to fix

What we’re looking for in a successful candidate:

  • Previous Online Merchandising experience
  • Ability to analyse & interpret data with a high level of numeracy
  • You will be self-motivated and able to prioritise workload effectively with high attention to detail
  • Engaging and influential communication skills
  • Experience with analytics tools such as Google Analytics
  • Expert level skills with Microsoft Excel
  • A passion for online retail!
