A fast-growing, highly successful e-commerce player is looking for an experienced and knowledgeable SEO Specialist to join their Marketing team.
Supporting the Head of Performance, you’ll be the go-to person for all technical queries relating to SEO, forming a key part of a large multi-disciplinary marketing team.
You’ll be responsible for defining and executing SEO strategies for the website itself, content creation, link building and reporting.
In this role you’ll be responsible for:
* Developing and implementing SEO strategies that increase organic search rankings
* Conducting keyword research to find new SEO opportunities
* Optimizing website content, landing pages and product listings
* Maintaining existing backlinks and gaining new ones
* Price negotiations
* Collaborating with the Marketing team to share & gain insights on performance
* Monitoring performance via tools such as MOZ, SEMRush, Google Analytics and Google Search Console
* Keeping up to date with any changes in search engine algorithms and industry trends
* Delivering a positive ROI for the business
* Reporting to the Head of Performance and C-level management on performance
To be successful in this role, you should be:
* Tertiary qualified
* At least 2 years of experience running SEO campaigns preferably within a retail/e-commerce environment
* Deep understanding of search engine algorithms
* Familiar with tools such as SEMRush and Google Search Console – preferable
* Proficient in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Good time management skills
* Excellent problem-solving skills
* Ability to work within our established team whilst also taking individual responsibility for performance
* Proven interest in digital marketing
