Social Media Coordinator

Salt is looking for a Social Media Assistant to coordinate online communications for a Government body responsible for reporting health-related information to the public.

• Identify new opportunities by distributing content to enhance communication and marketing strategies to the general public.

• Increase your skillset and knowledge by leveraging content across multiple online and digital channels to increase social media traffic and engagement.

Role

• Assist with developing social media content to ensure all social media feeds contain high-quality and coordinated information for all stakeholders.
• Ensure content available on social media channels is compliant with NSW Government standards and guidelines to service the wider community and stakeholders.
• Measure, monitor, report and review social media channels, through web analytics and other monitoring tools.
• Evaluate social media engagement and refine social media content to continually improve the quality, accessibility and effectiveness of key messages.

Who are you?

• Displays resilience and courage to be flexible and adaptable quickly when situations change.
• Communicate effectively when presenting ideas and arguments.
• Think and solve problems by researching and analysing information and then making recommendations based on relevant experience.
• Supportive of implementing systems of improvement initiatives and the introduction and roll-out of new technologies.
• Comfortable with a flexible working from home and in the office routine.
• Ideally, you will have experience working in an NSW Government role; it is not essential though.
