Business Development Manager

We’re delighted to be working with an Australian Managed Service Provider who are looking to grow their sales team. They’re looking for a Business Development Manager to sell their Hybrid Cloud Solutions with a focus on Azure along with other cloud solutions.

The Role

  • You’ll be responsible for winning new business and innovating sales strategies. Successfully attracting new target market segments and identifying opportunities for cross-selling products and services
  • Achievement of monthly / quarterly / annual new business targets
  • Engaging with all departments in the business including technical and engineering to develop and present solutions to customers
  • Manage current accounts whilst prospecting new customers to capitalize on new business opportunities and expand the business
  • Have a strong understanding of cloud solutions and services, able to manage sales cycles effectively and articulately present and network with C-Level customers
  • Develop creative, unique ideas for target marketing of new business within territory with a growth-oriented mindset.

Qualifications/requirements

  • Minimum of 7+ years of new business sales experience; experience selling managed services, cloud solutions
  • Bonus to have Azure-specific Managed Services background
  • Degree level education
  • Strong contract negotiating skills and ability to develop innovative solutions with a collaborative disposition.
  • Experience of meeting or exceeding targets.

Salary – Up to $170,000 base plus OTE
