Business Development Manager (SaaS/ Education Vertical)

Excellent opportunity for a Business Development Manager to join one of Australia’s most innovative companies. This position is to join their sales team where you would be responsible for pitching their innovative end-to-end digital solutions to the Australian Education Sector.

As the Business Development Manager, you’ll report into the GM, Business Solutions and lead the Business Development function across NSW and interstate, collaborating with all parts of the business to shape and drive new business opportunities with clients whilst also inhering a portfolio of their key accounts.

Working very closely with the leadership team, you will implement a business development strategy by analysing and reporting on business trends, developing proposals and presenting them to your client base.

What you’ll bring:

• 4 years B2B2C sales experience
• Strong business and commercial acumen
• Excellent relationship building skills and a proven track record of sales success
• Ability to leverage relationships to identify and influence new business opportunities
• A solution focused approach to sales
• A passion for sales and over delivering on your targets
• Strong technical understanding and an ability to translate technical requirements and specifications into easily understood business concepts
• A good understanding of technology and the emerging trends and challenges in the Australian Education Sector, would be beneficial
• Experience in IT or SaaS sales would be desirable
• Ability to travel interstate to meet the requirements of the position
• Tertiary Education Sector experience is a bonus
