About the Role

Join a fast-growing technology company on a mission to revolutionise how businesses manage their SaaS and cloud expenditures. Our client is at the forefront of helping companies optimise their SaaS stack and cloud investments through advanced pricing insights, trend data, smart dashboards, and expert negotiations.

Your Role

As a key player in the sales and business development team, you’ll work alongside the Sydney-based Account Executive, VP of Sales, and other team members to generate and convert leads into valuable meetings for the sales team across Australia and New Zealand. You’ll be crucial in ensuring that businesses are informed about our client’s innovative solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Drive early-stage business development to create warm leads for the Account Executive team.
  • Take ownership of your targets, track KPIs, and achieve success metrics on a weekly and monthly basis.
  • Engage with leads and prospects through various channels, including phone, email, and live chat.
  • Serve as the ambassador for the product, effectively communicating its unique selling points.
  • Identify opportunities for product improvement by sharing feedback from prospects with the Product teams.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and lead qualifications in the CRM system.
  • Adapt quickly to changes in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Proven adaptability and ability to excel in a fast-paced, uncertain environment.
  • Self-motivated with a positive attitude, strong leadership skills, and effective communication.
  • Organised, accountable, and a quick learner.
  • Successful track record in a BDR/SDR role.
  • Experience with early-stage startups and familiarity with the SaaS industry.
  • Comfortable discussing complex software concepts with confidence.
  • Embraces humility, kindness, and respect, contributing to a supportive and high-performing culture.
  • Eager to be part of an ambitious plan and help build a meaningful and memorable company.
