Head of Account Management (SaaS booking platform)

My client, a SaaS-Enabled marketplace booking platform that is revolutionising a $6.2 trillion-dollar global industry, is looking to expand their presence in Australia with a business-critical, self-starter “Account Management” hire.

This business is a global start-up who are contemporary, inventive and ambitious with multiple established and high performing offices across the globe.

They have a multi award-winning high-traffic booking platform that has quickly become a game changing industry leader with users in over 130 countries. They are trusted by millions of customers who transact millions of appointment bookings monthly with thousands of businesses worldwide.

This role is targeted towards middle management stars with 4-6 years of Account Management and leadership experience. You will have a background in the internet, software / SaaS or e-commerce sectors, ideally with a blend of Marketplace experience, and you will be able to demonstrate how you have successfully built and scaled high performing Account Management teams.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively lead the account management team in Australia through the implementation of a partner centric mode of operation and processes.
  • Actively drive and develop strategies and approaches to drive growth and position the business as a market leader.
  • Build strong and long-lasting relationships with their partners. Identify and connect with key partners to better understand their problems and how you can solve them.
  • Work with cross-functional departments to align on goals and approaches that facilitate the achievement of key objectives. Communicate internally on the critical information gathered on the market to improve your approach to the market.
  • Use data-driven analysis to understand your competitive environment, identify key improvement areas, develop growth plans and troubleshoot any performance gaps.
  • Effectively analyse reports, execute plans on increasing monetized revenue generated from partners in Australia.
  • Meet key performance indicators around online bookings ratios, usage, retention, conversions, churn and revenue.
  • Ensure positive partner experience through effective communication, swift resolution of partner inquiries and requests, sound decision-making and problem solving.
  • Contribute to the development of new product features by collating merchant feedback received.
  • Identify up-sell and cross sell opportunities and collaborate with sales to create additional value for merchants.

For this role you need to be tenacious, sophisticated and have the following skill set:

  • At least 4+ years of leadership experience.
  • Strong analytical and organisational skills.
  • Strong client servicing skills and track record of Account Management success.
  • Strong knowledge of the beauty and wellness industry is a plus.
  • History of exceeding revenue targets.
  • You are a self-starter, capable of driving yourself to your targets.
  • Experience in a high-growth business environment or start-up a plus.
