Senior Business Development Manager

Salt has partnered with one of Australia’s most well renowned and respected businesses who are seeking an exceptional Senior level Business Development Manager to join their team in Sydney. The ideal candidate for this role will have a hunter mentality.

The senior BDM must be focused on generating revenue and strong sales pipelines, but they are confident in their ability to maintain strong relationships amongst the chaos. A customer centric mindset is imperative and you will always aim to meet expectations, offer relevant solutions and create successful outcomes for your customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Creating new business opportunities!!!
  • Identifying pain points and offering accurate solutions for your clients
  • Pay close attention to your everchanging market and react to emerging trends to ensure you are always one step ahead of the game
  • Know your product back to front and inside out
  • Anticipate the next step for each of your clients and understand opportunity for growth within each organisation
  • Build, maintain and nurture each relationship equally
  • Collaborate with your team and deliver outcomes for yourself, your team and your clients
  • Use your negotiation skills regularly
  • Close complex, multi faceted sales and shape the future of the product, team and business

Requirements/ Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 4-5+ years’ experience in a sale’s focused role of similar nature
  • Experience with insights and data that enhance sales strategy and performance
  • Understanding of local and international IT and digital industries.
  • Ability to follow trends, identify risks and predict future opportunities
  • Contribute to your team environment (Sharing market insights, customer feedback, collaborative techniques)
  • You will always contribute in a positive and constructive way and are motivated to achieve
