Responsibilities
Leadership of an R&D organization of ~20 members for $12mm line of business
Organize and grow a team of software engineers, web developers and QA analysts for increased throughput 2021 and beyond
Foster an agile development culture and practice with the following attributes:

Continuous improvement
High-quality, on-time delivery
Operational ownership of performance, reliability, and scalability
Provide oversight of the Sydney development team
Travel
Less than 10% (International and Interstate)
Requirements
Experience with hiring and organizing various dev roles into teams in a dynamic environment with changing business needs
Proven customer-orientation
Experience in cross-functional collaboration with Product Management, Product Support, etc.
Minimum of 5 years leading teams and managing staff
Minimum of 5 years hands-on software development preferred
Experience as a leader in Agile/Scrum development
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or equivalent preferred
Tech Environment
Experience working with .net web applications a plus
Experience with React Native/JS a plus
Experience with mobile applications (iOS and Android) a plus
Experience working with automated GUI and functional testing a plus
Experience working with load and stress testi3ng tools a plus
Ability to work in Australia is compulsory
Remuneration
Base Salary Range: (based on skills and experience)
Superannuation: 9.50%
Incentive: Yearly Incentive Plan
