DevOps Engineer

Salt is looking for a DevOps Engineer for the client who is Australia’s first bank providing a broad range of consumer, business and institutional banking and wealth management services. They have offices in key financial centres around the world including London, New York, Hong Kong and Singapore.

The main focus of this DevOps role is System Automation in Python. The successful candidate should have Python / Java achievements.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, automate, support CI/CD pipelines;
• Build and maintain operational tools for deployment, monitoring, and analysis of AWS infrastructure and central services;
• Help app teams design secure and scalable infrastructure using approved cloud products, and support app DevOps teams from onboarding to Launch

Key Skills and requirements:

• Java background is highly desirable, with experience in Kafka;
• Kubernetes experience, but doesn’t have to be an expert;
• Strong experience in automation CI/CD pipelines / Ansible;
• Hybrid environment, currently migrating to AKS Rate;
