The Company
Salt has teamed up with a exciting Video Gaming Start-up, who is currently looking for a DevOps Engineer to join their innovative Engineering team on a permanent basis.
Over the past couple of years they’ve heavily invested in their Engineering team. They are also backed some of biggest names in the Gaming industry!
Please note that all candidates must have full working rights for Australia to apply for this position.
The Role
As a DevOps Engineer you will be joining our client’s high performing Engineering team, where you’ll be working in an AWS environment and will be responsible for building, maintaining, and monitoring the platform infrastructure.
Key Skills and Competencies
The successful DevOps Engineer should have the following skill set:
- Extensive experience with AWS
- Strong knowledge of various AWS tools, including including S3, SQS, SNS, Lambda, Elastic Beanstalk, Elasticache, Aurora
- Hands on experience with IaC, using Terraform or CloudFormation
- Experience in setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
- In depth experience working with Containers (Docker, ECS)
- Understanding of various programming languages (Bash, Python, PHP, JSON, YAML)
- Knowledge of ITIL methodologies
- Experience working in an Agile environment
- Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
