Enterprise Architect – Data & AI

We’re looking for a forward-thinking Enterprise Architect (EA) with deep expertise in Data and AI to help shape and lead our enterprise architecture function. Part of the Architecture & Software Engineering group, you will play a critical role in aligning technology strategy with business goals-particularly in the areas of data architecture, advanced analytics, and AI enablement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and governance of enterprise architecture frameworks, with a strong focus on data strategy and AI platforms.
• Design and maintain current and target state architectures, ensuring they support data-driven and AI-enabled business models.
• Guide solution architecture to align with enterprise principles, data governance, and AI readiness.
• Analyse the organisation’s technology landscape to identify gaps, especially in data and analytics, and recommend improvements.
• Champion data integration, quality, lifecycle management, and advanced analytics platforms.
• Establish governance practices to manage data architecture and AI capability development.
• Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to define architectural roadmaps that prioritise data-led innovation.

What We’re Looking For:

• 7+ years of Enterprise Architecture experience in large, complex environments.
• Proven expertise in data architecture, analytics platforms, and AI technologies.
• Strong understanding of data modelling, MDM, DQM, and cloud data platforms (AWS preferred).
• Experience with AI/ML frameworks, big data environments, and supporting technologies (e.g., Informatica, MuleSoft).
• Familiarity with enterprise platforms (e.g., Workday, Salesforce, Campus Solutions) and their role in data ecosystems.
• Exposure to smart campus, research systems, and connected environments is advantageous.
• Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to architectural decision-making.
• Proficient in TOGAF (preferred), Agile, and enterprise architecture tools like Essential Cloud.
