Head of Conversational Banking

Your role will be to run, build & transform the conversational banking experience for customers. The Conversational Banking service includes the Virtual Assistant and Live Chat Services, together with the build out of future asynchronous messaging as a service.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Create and update a multi-year strategic roadmap for the Conversational portfolio, including experience and technical integration with other digital/non digital channels
  • Lead the delivery of the Conversational portfolio across a cross-functional team, blending agile delivery disciplines with enterprise considerations and traditional tech delivery protocols
  • Oversee that management and prioritisation of the Conversational portfolio backlog of features, including how its connection points across the portfolio
  • Strategic influencing across organisation to grow and drive the Conversational agenda
  • Work with key stakeholders across the company to delivery key strategic customer and digital programs
  • Increase organizational understanding and depth of knowledge around the Conversational space, including AI-led experiences, and its benefits to customers and to the organization
  • Deliver on success metrics and benefits for Conversational portfolio, including evolution of data and metrics for the portfolio as it grows and transforms
  • Lead and engage direct team (including content writers, analysts, and product owners) and virtual cross functional team (including engineers, architects and data scientists) to run and deliver the portfolio

What you’ll need to succeed:

  • You are tertiary qualified with a Degree in Business, Design, Technology, Customer Experience or equivalent
  • Minimum of +7 years previous experience in senior digital product and/or digital technology roles
  • Experience working with Agile practices and can role model leadership, stakeholder management and communications approach required
  • Experience developing strategy and executing on strategic digital programs, with a preference for experience in delivering programs relating to emerging channels
  • Track record of operating effectively and delivering consistent results in complex and ambiguous environments
