Portfolio Administrator

Seeking Portfolio Administrator plays a crucial role in supporting program activities that ensure the smooth delivery of projects. You will collaborate closely with program and project managers, assist with onboarding/off-boarding, manage contract approvals, and facilitate requisition and purchase orders.

• $650.00 a day Inclusive of superannuation
• Exposure to working alongside one of Australia’s largest energy providers.
• 12-month Day rate rolling contract.

THE ROLE:

• Assist program and project managers with the regular processes essential to the lifecycle of programs and projects.
• Prepare data and reports under the guidance of colleagues and project teams.
• Generate reports for stakeholders at regular intervals and upon request.
• Liaise with analysts to identify when corrective interventions are necessary.
• Support the development and management of effective dashboard reporting across project, program, and portfolio levels.
• Engage with senior stakeholders to assist with capital approval, progress reporting, risk management, and governance.
• Contribute to the development of new operational methods through participation in working groups as needed.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

• Tertiary qualification in business, information technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience in administering small to large projects, preferably in the energy sector or related industries.
• Strong understanding of project methodologies and a keen interest in the energy sector.
• Proficient in compiling and analysing data, with a solid grasp of financial reporting and project management documentation.
• Familiarity with reporting tools such as Clarity or Horizon is an asset.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and/or Access are essential.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team while demonstrating initiative in completing ongoing tasks and providing support to colleagues.
