Project Manager

Join a dynamic team in the financial services industry as a Senior Project Manager for a cutting-edge Data Safety Program. Drive initiatives to enhance data security, manage budgets up to $10 million, and lead diverse projects! As a Senior Project Manager, you will play a vital role in driving initiatives that enhance our security capabilities, encompassing development practices, technology operations, regulatory compliance, education, and awareness. You will be working closely with stakeholders, implementing Secure DevOps practices, and ensuring a successful project delivery!

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute the project strategy, managing scope, solutions, and delivery approach.
• Define and manage delivery plans, optimizing sequencing, resource capacity, and capability, while conducting option assessments and impact evaluations.
• Facilitate integration of release and implementation activities across technology delivery partners and business functions.
• Identify and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies, collaborating with other Program Leads and business stakeholders.
• Foster strong working relationships with stakeholders and delivery partners, incorporating inputs from various teams to make informed decisions and drive change effectively.
• Adopt and contribute to a practical and consistent framework, methodologies, and principles for efficient program and project delivery.
• Collaborate with quality assurance and audit teams to maintain the highest standards in project delivery.
• Provide governance and reporting oversight over delivery teams, partners, and vendor progress.

Requirements:

• Minimum 7 years of experience in Program and Project delivery across diverse projects, including business transformation, application development, and cultural change.
• Proficient in cost management, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Strong stakeholder management skills and proven ability to engage effectively with diverse teams.
• Familiarity with program management tools and methodologies, collaborating closely with development teams.
• Team management experience with a track record of driving delivery outcomes.
• Exposure to the financial services industry, particularly in enterprise technology teams, is preferred.

This is a 12-month contract with a potential extension.

We are looking for candidates who are Sydney/Melbourne based with flexible work arrangements.
