Senior Business Analyst – Curriculum Management

A leading Australian University is seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst on a contract basis to support critical projects related to curriculum management. The role involves configuring templates on the GITF tool, collaborating with key stakeholders, and delivering comprehensive documentation to drive project success.

WHAT’S ON OFFER

• $850.00 a Day Inclusive of super.
• Initial 6-Month engagement, with possibility of extension.
• Exposure to working alongside a well-established Australian Uni.
• Melbourne, CBD.
• Hybrid working model. 2 days in office.

THE ROLE:

• Set up and configure templates on the GITF tool based on gathered requirements.
• Work closely with Product Owners, Lead BAs, and other Senior BAs to confirm and refine configurations.
• Create detailed documentation to support project progress, including As-Is and To-Be processes, and identify and document process gaps.
• Analyse requirements, including reporting needs, and contribute to the documentation of both current and future state processes.
• Engage with vendors to assess the impact of enhancements and ensure alignment with project objectives.
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to define project scope and requirements.
• Analyse and document current business processes and identify areas for improvement.
• Design and propose functional solutions that align with business needs and technical capabilities.
• Gather, analyse and document detailed functional and non-functional requirements, ensuring that these are well understood by all impacted stakeholders and project team members.
• Gather, analyse and document functional specifications, comprising of use cases, user interface designs and data attributes, where required.
• Facilitate workshops with business and technical stakeholders and perform walkthroughs with project team members.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

• MUST HAVE: Education/University Experience: Mandatory experience working within a university environment, preferably in curriculum management.
• Curriculum Management: Proven experience in curriculum management systems and configuring related templates.
• Solid experience working in Agile methodologies.
• Excellent skills in stakeholder engagement, documentation, and process mapping.
• Experience in data mapping and integration projects.
• Prior experience working on integration projects.
• Familiarity with the GITF tool is advantageous.
