Senior Peoplesoft Consultant

• Peoplesoft Fluid UI experience required
• 6-month initial contract, with extensions beyond

Join one of Australia’s leading and largest tertiary education institutions.

This position will work across a key project, the EOL to Fluid Migration, replacing the outdated Enrolment Online system with the modern PeopleSoft Fluid interface. This aims to enhance usability, accessibility, and provide a consistent enrolment experience, supporting the organisation’s goals of innovation, inclusion, and student satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

• Work with stakeholders to understand and improve user experience during solution design using approved tools and methods.
• Turn business needs into functional designs, following SDLC processes and staying current with system and tech updates to suggest better solutions.
• Define and manage UAT test plans and tools, working with testers to meet usability goals.
• Keep clear records of all system configurations and related info.
• Collaborate with the Change Manager with documentation and implementation of system changes.

Key skills and experience:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle PeopleSoft and Fluid.
• Strong SQL skills are a big plus.
• Able to lead complex analysis tasks.
• Skilled in gathering and writing clear business and functional requirements.
• Communicates well, open to feedback, and confident in leading workshops.
• Takes initiative, solves problems effectively, and works well alone or in a team.
• Quick to adapt to change and can work through uncertainty while delivering results.
• Good understanding of the full software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Experience in higher education and knowledge of the student lifecycle.
