We’re on the hunt for a WordPress Developer to join this well known global communications agency.

Already, 2021 is shaping up to be their busiest year with heaps of work in the pipeline for February and March.

We’re looking to engage a freelance Developer who will come on board and join their development team, and help develop bespoke WordPress sites for an array of clients across multiple industries, some of these clients are globally recognised brands.

With lots of work in the pipeline, now couldn’t be a better time to join and get stuck in.

The role:

• Developing bespoke WordPress themes and plug-ins from scratch
• Owning development, testing, and final delivery
• Configuration of the WordPress backend using custom posts, ACF and Gutenberg Blocks
• Connecting to third-party APIs
• Advanced JavaScript styling to front-end components such as forms, checkouts, and wizards
• Sharing knowledge and best practice

Our ideal candidate will have experience and knowledge in the following:

• Bespoke WordPress themes and development
• Custom plug-ins
• WP Functions – e.g register_post_type
• NPM
• HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, Vue.js
• Experienced in EDM builds for Mailchimp & Campaign Monitor
• NPM/Webpack
• Git or similar
• Configuration of the backend using custom posts, ACF and/or Gutenberg Blocks – beneficial but not essential
