Agile IT Project Lead / Scrum Master – Banking Client – Brussels

Rate: 700 – 800 per day

Duration: 1 Year Freelance / Contract

The Role is remote until we can go back into the offices

Our Collateral Management roadmap gives the opportunity to work on the implementation of Collateral Highway new services in a moving, challenging and innovative environment.

The projects you will work on will provide you challenges in several area’s (scope definition, risk monitoring, management of deadlines, agile transformation…).

You will integrate a very dynamic team where you will be able to further develop yourself.

Role

We are currently looking for an IT Project Manager with experience in Agile.

You are responsible for the END TO END DELIVERY of your projects, including :

• Delivery of the project scope on time, budget and with the expected quality
• Writing of comprehensive project memos, allowing the Business Sponsor and IT management to take relevant decisions
• Providing regular status to Project Sponsor/various stakeholders
• Monitoring of the expected benefits approved in the business cases
• Negotiating the delivery of your projects with all the impacted factories including with the CM scrum masters
• Working in a context where the agile transformation is ongoing

To be successful, you will have to :

• Develop and maintain project plans and forecasts, including resource requirements, costs, risks and their mitigations and dependencies with other projects
• Manage virtual teams across various divisions and entities, including third party suppliers in India
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with your customers, providing advice, guidance and options with regards IT investments
• Define deliverables, assign their production to project team members and monitor progress and quality of those deliverables, ensuring they respect the planning while maintaining good relationships
• Manage the staffing of assigned projects and monitor budget spent
• Lead the risk, issue and change control processes for assigned projects, build action plan to mitigate risks/solve issues and track action items
• Control and monitor the progress of projects, reporting to the Portfolio Manager and the Sponsorship Committee
• Manage the project according to the internal Agile or Waterfall standards (methodology & tools)

Qualifications

• Have a strong experience in Agile as Scrum master or Scrum master tribe lead to help us in our Agile transformation.
• relevant experience with a delivery role in (parts of) the project lifecycle..
• strong leadership skills to adapt your style according to the situation and to the different stakeholders
• good business and technical understanding
• interpersonal skills to influence decisions taken with the project sponsor/client
• excellent communication skills at all levels, from staff members to senior management
• ability to learn quickly in a complex environment and to synthesize the situation
• strong negotiation skills, conflict management and influencing skills at different levels of management
• effective delegation of tasks and responsibilities while maintaining overall control
• assertiveness to drive tasks to completion
• fluent in English

Assets

• Experience with outsourcing partner/offshoring
• experience in an E2E project management role and Agile Transformation
• Knowledge of Collateral Management business domain
• Certification in PRINCE 2 and/or PMI (or similar IT frameworks) and/or Agile Scrum master
