Salt are recruiting for multiple Engineering Leads for a London based FinTech who are one of the fastest growing companies in Europe – this is a business that’s grown from 2>3,000+ in the last 10 years alone, with 13 million customers across the globe. They operate in the Spotify Engineering model of Squads & Tribes, and have nearly 200 in this department just in the UK alone – and whilst you’ll be joining as a Engineering Lead initially, there’s very real and rapid progression into Squad Lead and Tribe Lead in time.

Your role will be split between people leadership of initially 6 reports as well as hands on coding – so it’s important you’re adept and comfortable with doing both. You ideally will have experience leading people in cross-functional teams with a product mindset.

On the coding side they are looking for people who have designed scalable systems, using microservices architecture, Java and preferably Spring Boot. Bonus points for experience with AWS or other similar cloud hosting systems.

The salary for this Engineering Lead role ranges from £110,000 to £130,000 + RSU’s worth upto £60,000.
