Human Resources Business Partner

Location: Toronto – Hybrid

With a strong commitment to employee growth and workplace excellence, they are seeking a strategic and dynamic Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to support their Canadian operations. This role will drive key HR initiatives, enhance employee experience, and collaborate with business leaders to foster a high-performing and inclusive work environment.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Partner

* Implement HR strategies, processes, and systems across multiple business functions.
* Collaborate with senior leaders to drive the people development agenda.
* Improve employee experience by enhancing policies, systems, and processes.
* Ensure compliance with local labor laws and regulations.
* Lead Diversity, Equity & Inclusion initiatives to foster an inclusive workplace.
* Support compensation, benefits, learning, and rewards programs.
* Drive career development strategies for both new hires and existing employees.
* Develop leadership talent through succession planning and competency-building initiatives.

Employee Advocate

* Facilitate career development conversations and employee engagement programs.
* Provide HR guidance on policies, procedures, and best practices.
* Support talent management, performance reviews, and wellness initiatives.

Change Champion

* Lead organization change strategies to align with business objectives.
* Implement HR initiatives that support long-term growth and workforce readiness.
* Act as a mentor to business leaders, driving leadership effectiveness and team performance.
* Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.

Qualifications & Experience

* 5-7 years of HR Business Partner or HR Generalist experience.
* Bachelor’s or Postgraduate degree in Human Resources or related field.
* Strong understanding of business strategy and financial impacts.
* Proven ability to align HR programs with business priorities.
* Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and inspire.
* A proactive and adaptable mindset to navigate change and ambiguity.
