We’re partnering with a fast-growing global digital advertising technology company and agency, seeking an experienced Head of Growth & Strategy to lead their North American digital marketing agency and sales operations, based in downtown Toronto.
This is a high-impact leadership role that blends strategic oversight with hands-on sales and business development. You’ll be the bridge between operations, client strategy, and business expansion, driving growth through new business, upselling, cross-selling, and strengthening client portfolios. If you’re commercially savvy, marketing-minded, and energized by scaling teams and businesses, this could be your next big move.
What You’ll Do
* Lead the Toronto agency’s strategic direction and growth targets in alignment with the company’s global vision.
* Manage and mentor the local sales team, setting clear goals, providing guidance, and tracking performance.
* Drive business development by identifying new opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and increasing revenue through upselling and service expansion.
* Collaborate with account managers to ensure outstanding client service and to identify opportunities for growth.
* Oversee the full sales cycle from lead generation to closing and account expansion.
* Represent the business in the North American market through networking, partnerships, and thought leadership.
* Partner with cross-functional teams (marketing, product, finance) to tailor strategy for the North American market.
What We’re Looking For
* Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
* 7+ years’ experience in business development, growth, or account strategy within a digital marketing agency or B2B tech environment.
* Proven track record in a leadership or strategic sales role with direct team or regional responsibility.
* Strong knowledge of digital marketing services (SEM, social media advertising, performance marketing, etc.).
* Client-facing expertise including pitching, upselling, and relationship-building.
* A self-starter with both a strategic mindset and hands-on execution skills.
* Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal abilities.
* Experience working in or with international teams is an asset.
