Sales Engineer – OEM Market Expansion

Location: Mississauga, Ontario (with regular regional travel)

Compensation: Base + uncapped variable bonus

I’m partnering with a growing Canadian company at the forefront of thermal design and heat transfer solutions. Their speciality lies in developing and supplying powertrain cooling systems to OEM clients across the construction, agriculture, mining, transportation, and mass-transit sectors. It’s a tight-knit and highly capable team that’s making a serious impact in an evolving industry, and they’re now looking to bring on a talented Sales Engineer to drive business growth across new and existing OEM partnerships.

In this role, you’ll work directly with executive leadership, help shape the company’s strategic direction, and be the driving force behind revenue expansion across key verticals.

What You’ll Be Doing:

* Identifying and pursuing new OEM business opportunities
* Conducting client meetings and sales presentations (in-person and remote)
* Understanding client requirements and developing tailored solutions
* Managing complex, long-cycle sales engagements
* Acting as a technical advisor during the pre- and post-sales process
* Representing the company at trade-shows and key industry events
* Meeting and exceeding business development targets

What We’re Looking For:

* A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Materials, or Chemical Engineering (required)
* SolidWorks experience is essential; certification is a strong asset
* 4-10 years of technical sales experience, ideally with small to mid-sized OEMs
* Experience working in sectors such as mining, construction, agriculture, or transit is a major asset
* A self-starter with a strategic, solutions-oriented mindset
* P.Eng. designation is a bonus but not required
