Senior Consultant, Networking and Security Architect

Responsibilities

* Develop, design and maintain network and security architectures while following a structured solution development/design methodology
* Strong experience with SD-WAN deployments and related technologies to analyze, design, advise, implement and develop supporting documentation, policies and procedures to support SMB (small and medium business) and Enterprise level Networks
* Work closely with other members of the network engineering team to ensure successful SD-WAN project delivery
* Collaborate with our Clients to understand their project needs and provide tailored solutions
* Stay up-to-date on industry trends and emerging technologies related to SD-WAN
* Provide guidance to staff on technology issues when needed
* Liaise with Sales and support groups for Client related needs and projects

Critical Qualifications

* University Degree in Computer Science, Information Management Systems or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
* Minimum 4+ years of industry experience
* CCNP Route & Switch/Security; Security certifications are considered an asset
* Have demonstrated extensive experience with SD-WAN products from vendors such as Silver Peak, Cisco Viptela, etc.
* Aruba/Silverpeak certifications or product knowledge and experience would be a big plus
* Experience in providing network (wired & wireless) & security architecture, design, implementation, and support for enterprise environments
* Virtualization experience with VMWare/Hyper-V/KVM. Certifications is an asset
* Experience with the following:

* Cisco/Meraki: Routers, Switches – Data center level
* Firewalls: Cisco, Checkpoint, Fortinet, etc.
* Network Management tools like PRTG, Nagios, Solarwinds/Manage Engine, Cisco management tools, etc.
* Vulnerability Scanners: (Nessus/Tenable) is an asset
* Cloud knowledge (Azure, AWS) is an asset
