Cloud Data Architect

What you’ll do

Reporting to the Lead Enterprise Architect,

This role is to lead the “List Optimisation and Orchestration” capability’s solution design. It is anticipated that the solution will consist of bespoke cloud technology development with best-of-breed automated testing and deployment tools. The solution architect will therefore be required to work with development teams to deliver the functional and non-functional requirements in accordance with the architectural principles and strategy.

The List Optimisation and Orchestration capability will provide an automated list consolidation and automated production impact test, impact assessment and deployment capability. The purpose of this capability is to ensure that sanction lists’ changes are processed quickly and deployed to the live environment.

What you’ll need

• Minimum 5 years’ delivery experience developing data solutions, data pipelines, implementing test and deployment of CI/CD technical solutions
• Minimum 5 years’ experience Solution Architecture and design across the full product development lifecycle, with exposure to a wide array of technologies, methodologies, and business environments.
• Experience of working in agile IT development environments
• Experience AWS Cloud Native Architecture and Solution Design
• Fluent in written and spoken business English
• Experience of working within an Agile Frameworks such as LESS and or SAFe and adapting to meet the way of working

Responsible for:

• Working with Product Owner and Banks’ business users to translate business needs into Technology and Data technical requirements and associated designs
• Manage technical development and configuration of the system to meet requirements and create a seamless end to end capability
• Working with the Enterprise and Security architects,3rd party solution architects and designers to provide:
  • Support the selection of appropriate technologies to meet the product requirements
  • High level target solution architecture design to enable vendors’ products to provide machine learning and entity resolution
  • Review and agree proposed solution designs
• Working with our chosen Delivery Partner, Security architects and Test Manager to:
  • Provide detailed solution design and technical requirements/sheets to our cloud delivery partner as required
  • Work with the scrum teams and product owners to ensure development blockers are resolved
  • Review and provide collaborative input and support on the development and test environments to be built
• Work with the lead Enterprise architect to define and provide architecture guidelines
• Support the Release and Environments Lead to:
  • Enable timely delivery of all development, test and production environments
• Present technical designs for approval via the Design Authority forum
• Provide recommendation on how Solution Architecture and Design should be set up within going forwards
