Sales Trainer – Inhouse (Finance/Investment)

SALT are looking for a Sales Trainer to design and deliver educational programs for our clients sales teams. We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Sales Trainer to join a dynamic investment business.

As the inhouse Sales Trainer, you will be responsible for identifying areas of improvement and implementing effective educational programs tailored to the needs of the sales teams. You’ll collaborate closely with the salespeople, addressing their on-the-job challenges and devising strategies to enhance productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive skills gap analyses to determine areas for improvement
• Develop customized training curricula within specified time and budget constraints
• Generate engaging educational materials, including videos and case studies
• Oversee the onboarding process for new sales team members
• Facilitate individual and team performance reviews to identify strengths and weaknesses
• Track sales objectives and measure results against targets
• Gather valuable feedback from trainees and managers to improve training courses
• Analyze the impact of training programs based on key metrics, such as attained sales
• Collaborate with external trainers and industry professionals to organize seminars
• Maintain accurate records of training materials, curricula, and associated costs

Requirements and Skills:

• Solid experience as a full-time Sales Trainer.
• Sales experience in Finance/Investment is advantageous.
• Proficiency in managing the entire training cycle, including in-person coaching.
• Proven experience of driving impact in scaling sales functions.
• Exceptional organizational aptitude.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to design effective training programs.
• Outstanding coaching skills
• Great organizational and interpersonal skills
• Ability to track and measure performance.
• Strong presentation abilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Human Resources, or a related field desirable.
• Additional training certifications would be advantageous.
