Our client, a renowned Global events company, are looking for a Content Director to join their growing team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the revenue growth strategy for the content team.
- Ensure client success by supervising the quality, delivery, and performance of content marketing programs across our client portfolio, at both enterprise and campaign levels.
- Collaborate closely with the sales team to formulate products/pricing, define program scopes, and support client acquisition efforts.
- Lead the conference team, ensuring they excel in developing differentiated, expertise-driven content.
- Foster a thriving culture that prioritizes performance, collaboration, client service, and innovation.
- Collaborate across the team to cultivate a thriving expert network of industry professionals.
- Establish and uphold content quality standards, working collaboratively to remain at the forefront of effective, compelling content marketing.
- Refine team processes to align with client and business objectives.
- Provide support in resolving complex client and organizational challenges.
- Promote diversity, inclusion, and a sense of belonging within the organization.
Key Qualifications, Experience & Qualities:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education.
- 8+ years in conferences with a strong background in management, editorial, and client service (years of experience less important than demonstrated expertise).
- Proven track record of driving client, revenue, and team growth.
- Experience working with key stakeholders such as Ministries and Governments.
- Exceptional editing, ideation, and content strategy skills with the ability to impart these skills to others.
- Strong business acumen, process development expertise, and adeptness in people management.
- Demonstrated ability to foster the growth of individual contributors both in terms of skill set and career advancement.
- In-depth knowledge of conference production and a history of building a creative, engaged culture that celebrates performance and individuality.
- Proficient problem solver with demonstrated capability to strategize broadly while also engaging in client work.
- Demonstrated ability to balance priorities across different clients and government relationships.
