Responsibilities
Providing expert legal counsel and guidance on a diverse range of legal issues
Collaborating with management to develop and implement a legal strategy that compliments business objectives and ensures compliance with UAE law and internal company policies
Reviewing, drafting and negotiating commercial contracts and other legal documents
Conducting legal research and analysis to support stakeholder decision-making and the identification and mitigation of potential risks/liabilities
Managing litigation matters, including disputes and legal claims
Engagement with colleagues from all areas of the business (both customer-facing and support) and external stakeholders, including representing Tahaluf in front of governmental authorities, regulatory bodies and industry associations
Working with Group Compliance, Data Privacy and others functions on compliance, privacy and other governance/internal audit matters, covering issues such as anti-bribery and corruption, health and safety and trade sanctions
Liaising with external legal counsel to obtain specialist legal advice and support as required
